Wedding List Co is here to make your bridal registry as easy as possible but there are some details regarding delivery to be aware of. Please take 5 minutes to read the details below and if you have any questions or queries, just contact us.
GIFT DISCONTINUATIONS Homewares like fashion, is becoming more season orientated and our suppliers are regularly changing their ranges. You may find that gifts that you chose in your consultation or online may no longer be available before you close your list. This is no different to the major department stores, where changes to stock from discontinuations regularly occur. In this instance, you will be advised in your ‘Couple Login’ where replacements or alternatives will be offered or credit towards other gifts can be opted. Discontinued gifts can not be redeemed as a cash refund.
MANAGING YOUR LIST You can manage your wedding list at any time through your web login. Functionality includes adding / removing gifts that are listed on our website. You also have the ability to view purchases from guests and receive email alerts. Requests to add additional items not already listed on our website will incur a $100 charge, some exceptions apply. There are two delivery options: Standard Delivery option does allows you to add but not remove gifts that have been purchased; Flexible Delivery is available if wish to remove gifts that have been purchased (there is no limit on the changes). If you sign up online (after April 2011), you will automatically be selected with Standard Delivery, please contact Wedding List Co if you would like the Flexible Delivery option. You can not change between delivery options once gifts have been purchased.
YOU MUST CLOSE YOUR LIST AFTER YOUR WEDDING In order to receive your gifts you must close your list after your wedding. It is at your discretion when you choose to close however we recommend not leaving it longer than 8 weeks after the wedding. Gifts / vouchers cannot be exchanged for items as deemed by Wedding List Co, including but not limited to vouchers, contribution registry, electronics or BBQs valued at over $400. With Standard and Flexible Delivery options, you can add to complete sets and this all occurs in your couple login.
DELIVERY Standard delivery normally takes 4-6 weeks, flexible 6-8 weeks after you close your list and if required, a second delivery will occur about 4 weeks later (please allow an extra week for WA, NT and TAS). However, on the odd occasion due to supply issues outside our control, some items may take longer. Inner Sydney, Melbourne deliveries take place on a Saturday, outside of these areas, gifts are couriered for arrival on a weekday. Second deliveries may be posted depending on the number of gifts. Where less than $750 of gifts (excluding vouchers) have been purchased, your gifts will be posted. If you cannot take delivery on a Saturday the gifts will be available for collection from our office or stores during the week. Large items that are more than 1 man can carry (furniture, BBQs etc) will be delivered directly to you from the supplier Mon-Fri during business hours and may have additional charges (you will be notified at the time of delivery).
Items that have been delivered may not be exchanged or returned unless damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied by Wedding List Co. Written notification of any damaged or incorrect items must be provided within 5 days of delivery/collection.
DELIVERY CHARGES There is no charge to the bridal couple for delivery to most Australian states. NT, TAS and SA / QLD / WA regional deliveries, couples will have an extra per carton charge. Refer to 'Delivery of your gifts' within your Couple Login for more details. Large items may incur an additional charge. A nominal guest charge is added per order for service and delivery, for Metro Sydney, Melbourne $7.95; for Metro Brisbane $10.95 and for the rest of Australia - $12.95. If incorrect address details are provided or not updated, your will be charged for the second delivery. PRICES In line with the major Australian department stores, all gifts are at the recommended retail price (RRP). Wedding List Co offers a Price Promise Policy (see website) for all guests and couples. We also offer 4 x 20% discount cards for immediate family who spend $300 or more on cutlery, dinnerware or glassware. Family discounts must be processed by WLC at the time of the order, otherwise a $15 retrospective fee will apply. This excludes certain gifts as deemed by Wedding List Co (eg appliances, electrical, honeymoon vouchers or gifts on special) and can not be used in conjunction with the Price Promise Policy. Up to the date of delivery, the price of special items such as cars are subject to change. Any change in the price will need to be settled prior to delivery.
GIFTS For the purposes of promotions and the Price Promise, the word gift or gifts does not apply to Contribution Registry and all third party vouchers.
GIFT STORAGE Couples who wish Wedding List Co to store gifts after delivery is ready will be charged $75 per month.
THIRD PARTY VOUCHERS Once issued by Wedding List Co, vouchers to purchase goods or services with a third party will not be guaranteed by Wedding List Co. In the event the third party is unable to supply the goods or service for whatever reason, Wedding List Co will not be held liable. Wedding List Co makes no warranty or representation regarding the standard of any service to be provided. All vouchers are issued subject to the terms and conditions of each third party.
CREDIT Any credit you have available at the time of closing your list is valid for 12 months from the closing date.
CONTRIBUTION REGISTRY Contribution Registry Terms Of Use
WARRANTIES Warranty, service and support of products are provided directly to you by the manufacturer and supplier of the product. Subject to any rights which may not be excluded or limited, The Wedding List Company makes no representations or warranties regarding any products.
CANCELLATION In the event of a cancelled gift registry, the bride and groom must provide written confirmation to place the list on hold. Wedding List Co will refund the money to guests when authorised by both members of the couple. The bridal couple will be subject to a 10% administrative charge on the value of the items purchased off the wedding list at the time of cancellation. Standard Delivery, certain special order items will not be refunded and will be delivered to either the bride or groom. There is no refund for any setup costs of a Contribution Registries.
ACCEPTANCE The Wedding List Company Pty Ltd reserves the right to decline to manage any list. In no event will The Wedding List Company be liable to you in excess of any amount payable by you for any goods purchased on this website. These Terms and Conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Release date: April 2011
